When I turn on my computer it will go strait to the screen were it asks how you want to start your computer i have chossen every option and all of them will start to load then the screen will flash blue with writing on it then start loading the Dell thing and go strait back the how do you want to start screen. I am Running a Dell 8300 with 3.00 ghz pentium 4 and 1 and a half gigs of ram with a 30 gige hard drive. the onley diference i have made is a RAM upgrade a MONTH ago. I havent installed new software it just suddenly stopped turning on. please help I have so much inportant information on there dealing with a boardgame im makeing and a cant afourd to lose it all.

Are you speaking of the XP Safe Mode options?

A black screen with these options:

• Safe Mode
• Safe Mode with Networking
• Safe Mode with Command Prompt
• Enable VGA Mode
• Last Known Good Configuration
• Directory Service Restore Mode
• Debugging Mode
• Enable Boot Logging
• Starts Windows Normally
• Reboot
• Return to OS Choices Menu
