    Re: unwanted thumbnails

    Hi Tassie Devil

I set the tick in 'empty temp internet files when browser is closed' . This reduced the favicons to a few pictures showing on the home page of my internet provider (virgin). The scroll arrows showing black.
The only way to get scroll arrows to show brown (indicating no unwanted favicons) is to 'delete temp internet files' via Tools>Internet Options>General>Temporary Internet Files> Delete Files just befor downloading the attachment.
Sound like you have the same annoying problem!
This I find reassuring as I first thought I had a bug or virus in Adobe Photoshop, or something more sinister!
    Best regards
    Don

Hi... firstly, thankyou both Tassie Devil and jephree for your help so far. However, I still don't understand when I get an e mail with a photo attachment, when I take it into a temporary file (rather than save into a permanent file) the left & right arrows show lots of thumbnails of other pictures of things I have seen in other web sites? These arrows are now blue, previosly they were either black, or, if there were no other pictures, they were brown.
I see that 172 other people have viewed this question since I posted it a few weeks ago, perhaps someone else out there has some thoughts on this irriating & unsolved problem?
Many thanks to you all, Don, confused !
