ok i've got a sony vaio laptop, maybe 2.5 years old, model number pcg-k23. the problem started about a week ago. i have, i guess, 3 physical hard drives, "C" "D" "E".

i have no problem accessing folders and files on c and e, but when i try to look thru the D drive, i can get it to show me the folders on the drive but when try to access those folders the window freezes and tells me its not responding.

i've ran anti-virus, spware, adware scans and defragged the drive with no help.

could someone give some info on this problem, its driving me crazy not being able to access my drive !!!

Click on My Computer then right click D: then choose Check for read errors

well i tried the disc error reader and didnt come up with anything. so i defragged ti maybe 2 times and now its workin like it was brand new. wierd how itcomes and goes like that. thanks guys
