    Re: Wireless Connection

does the modem connect to the PC using USB?

the modem has it got a lead going to the phone line,if you disconnect the speedtouch modem the cable that goes from the phone line to the modem connect that to the belkin and using an Ethernet cable from one of the ports on the back to the Ethernet socket on your PC

you connect just the belkin to the phone line and use ethernet from the belkin to the PC

you don't need the speedtouch, the belkin is a modem as well as a router

you should have in the box

    Belkin F5D7632
    RJ11 Phone Line Cord
    RJ45 Ethernet Networking Cable
    ADSL In-Line Filter
    Power Supply
    User Manual CD
    Quick Installation Guide

the belkin should be a modem as well as the router.

connect the belkin to the phone line and your PC type into the address bar http://192.168.2.1 you should get the belkins homepage, follow instructions here under Configuring the router
