This my first post and I am quite the novice to the internet/coputers in general.
I have a question: Can words be deleted out of the search "bar" permanently?
Hi and welcome to D-A-L
do you mean the words you type in to find a specific website?
try MRU blater http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/mrublaster.html
Yes, is there a way to do this "manually"?Originally Posted by brain_damage
are you using IE?
Microsoft Internet Explorer, by default, remembers everything you type into a form on a Web page.
another way is to use CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ very useful tool again freeware
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/iepk.html is another very easy tool to clear all the unwanted stuff
these tools are very good and don't cost any thing are easy to use![]()
Hi, I'm a novice too, but I think you mean the google search bar, just highlite the offending artical and then press delete in the top left hand side and it should be gone.Originally Posted by bob trebra
