have you got the restore discs that came with the machine?

have you tried system restore?

or follow the instruction Here and then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware section. (Not here please). with a brief explanation of what the symptoms are

System Restore was coming up as a blank screen and the discs werent reading, no cd's were.It was majorly affected so in the end I rang a 1.50 hotline and asked how to totally wipe my c drive.This seems to have removed the problem. Thanks.
