    Exclamation A odd restart issue

Ok I have a restart problem which seems to be a big issue around here.

Problem: My computer restarts after I run certain programs espcially 3D MMO games like Gates To Heaven, Rakion, just to name a few. I believe my video card is causing this or something beyond me. This doesnt happen unless i run the programs. I run Rakion for example the computer freezes then the screen goes blue (but not the BSoD i know) white text flashes on the screen and it restarts.

Note: Im a newb so if u need more info dont flame just let me know *flame shield*
    BTW this is a laptop

    Computer:

    Acer Aspire 5003WLMi Laptop
    AMD Turion 64ML-32 processor
    1GB DDR RAM
    SiS M760GX Video
    Service Pack 2 Installed
Spybot and Adware done and all clean
    Windows Firewall up and running
    Fan is running fine

Here are two .dmp files i found and are attached below.

    Help Please

Those dumps fault your graphics driver.

    Aspire 5000 series:

    http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/for...ords=&areaid=7

They offer this driver for SiS M760GX Video:

    http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/for...ords=&areaid=7

Download the file to your Desktop and the right click and Extract to a folder.
Then go thru the sub-folders until you get to the list if files included and click Setup.exe

Thanks i removed the old driver and installed this one and it fixed some things. I tried Ranikon and it worked but still some programs cause faults on my video card. I guess my video card cant handle it. THANKS again

Your video is an on-board (integrated) chip. It cannot be changed or upgraded.

The drivers of course can be changed.

If the computer is still under warranty I would suggest returning it for repair or replacement.

Otherwise we can keep tracking the dumps and see if any new clues come up.
