    Re: Browser Problem

    1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu
    2. Choose 'Internet Options'
    3. Click the 'Security' tab
    4. Click 'Custom Level'
    5. Scroll down until you see the section labelled 'Scripting'
    6. Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click 'OK'

That probably won't help as I disabled mine but I could still view the webpages.
Do you get any error message at the bottom left of your screen on the pages you can't see?
Under your first post can you see the google ads?

I was going to suggest downloading firefox. If it doesn't work in that then it's probably not a browser problem.

Click on this link . When it opens click on one of the green web addresses on the right. In the box at the top where it says location...delete what's written in it and type the address of the stanley site in it and press your enter key. Can you see the pics now?

What firewall are you running? I have heard of norton causing problems like this.
I am cracking up with this too. lol

    Hi Jaynee,

You are a STAR, got into it NO problem with the Proxy.org. So what do you think my problem has been. Have to go and have a Laugh at some of the Old mug shot's of myself and my mate's. E-mail will be busy tomorrow. Sorry for giving you the hassle but you can rest now.

    Thank You Again.

Glad you finally got to see the pics.
    You could try the following....

Open command prompt. (Usually located in all programs > accessories.)

Enter ipconfig /flushdns and hit the enter key.

Now see if you can see the pics in your normal browser.

    Hi Jaynee,
Tried that and still NO joy. Will just have to keep going into it through proxy server. Makes it a bit slower for some reason but it work's. What do you think the problem is or has been. Funny how I can't get into it with normal server but can through proxy.
As I said b4,thanks for ALL the help and if you have any other idea's just let me know what to do.

    Thanks.

It's strange how you can view some parts of the site but not others. Maybe it's some sort of confliction with your ISP. I have had this happen to me on 2 different occasions in the past. The first time one site I wanted to view had got added to my hosts file.
You could check if that's the case with yours but I doubt it as you can view parts of the site.
The hosts file is usually located in
    Windows XP = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
    Windows 2K = C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
    Win 98/ME = C:\WINDOWS

The second time it was a fault of my ISPs... no one on the same ISP as me could access a particular site.
A proxy server is always slower as the data is being routed through the proxy instead of straight to your pc.

    Hi,
Yet again thanks for your help.I will go and have a look at Windows. I also forgot to answer a question. I have Norton Internet Security. I have also disabled it to try it but still couldn't open pages. Don't know if you went into the site or not but I am on the darts page. A long, long time ago.I have also just e-mailed the webmaster a few picture's so if you keep checking you will see me in Darts and bowl's.

    Thank You Once Again.
