    Is this a good idea?

I use My Pictures file as a screensaver sometimes, when I get bored with the Beziers and the fluttering Microsoft flag, but just lately it's been acting strange. On the larger images the fade-up transition has become jerky. (Why do I hear sniggering out there? Stop it!)
One solution suggested was that I go into Properties on My Computer and switch off the paging file, alternatively move the paging file from the C section to the D section. Do these ideas get the DAL nod, and if so, which would be the better?

Sounds like this is one of the effects that are used between picture transitions.
Navigate to the screensaver tab of display properties and click on 'settings' of the screensaver.
You can disable the effects that are used between the transition of the pictures.

    Do you ever sleep, jeph?
Seriously, thanks for that, but I like the transition effects so I'd like to keep them.

    Sleep?

    What is that?

    If I do it I don't remember?

Is that like a dream or something?

    Anyway the latest search reveals:
