someone ran a system recovery on my computer ( I am mad at him for it) and i lost my account so when i log in with this account i still see the same icons on my desktop from before the system recovery though i can't use any of the programs because they can't find the files. I look in my C: drive and found the same amount of memory left on it so my files must still be on the computer, but i don't know how to get them back can anyone please help. Or is there anyway to restore a deleted account profile.

What kind of Recovery?

If you mean System Restore you can run it again and choose Undo Last Restore.

If you mean he ran an OEM Recovery disk you might have access to data but programs would need reinstalling.
