Every time I come to play a video in WMP10 I get the following message:

Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

With the following info:

AppName: wmplayer.exe AppVer: 10.0.0.3802 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000

So I basically can't play videos in WMP10 anymore. I've downloaded WMP10 again, and installed over it, but I can't physically uninstall WMP10, becuase I don't have the System Restore point for it.

What can I do? What is the problem with it?

I have Windows XP Pro SP2
