Hi all:

Last days I can't close my PC with normal proceeding,I have to use the ON/OFF button !!
Even with task manger i cannot shut it down !!

This never happened to me before !!

How can I fix this ??

One thing you could try is to run check disk:

start | Run cmd

Type: chkdsk /f

You will be told that you cannot do this as the files are in use > Do you want to run on next boot? Y or N

Type: y and then reboot.

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware or software?

If this is a new problem try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Yes thats what I'm planning to do.

I did already some restores in the past no problem.
