I seem to be missing one little check mark somewhere on some screen that will stop my pictures (found in ...HP_Administrator\My Documents\My Pictures - (photos uploaded and photos transferred...) from being included in the selections of desktop themes?

Where do you see this selection of Desktop Themes?

You are not referring to ScreenSavers: are you?

Yes, that is where I'm seeing it - when I right click on my desktop, I then go to properties and to "desktop" and in the "background box, My Pictures' files (jpeg) are there. But, guess what? I just now went there to check to be sure I'm relaying things right and they're not there now!

Oh my goodness! I must have had a "bug" - I have just finished running my ewido, spysweeper, and ad aware programs -maybe one of them cleared up whatever problem there was (even those none of the programs reported that they found anything!)

It must be time for a HJT check-up - do you think?

Having a slide show of your Pictures is an XP option for a Screen Saver.

You were seeing a Preview page indicating that this was your selected Screen Saver.

Malware could vary possibly change your Screen Saver.

As a first response you might want to post a HijackThis log for review by our Pros in that section:
