Hi people!

I wonder if someone can help me. When I try to download anything from a site like an update for an existing program or a new program is comes up with a message saying "You are not authorised to view this page. Please contact the website" At first I thought it was the websites but it is happening with everything I try to download...?!
I have tried turning off my firewall but still no joy... Please help.

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware or software?

If this is a new problem try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Hi I have already requested help on this topic but my description of the problem may have been vague at the time. However, I have now been given an ERROR CODE so maybe this will assist someone in helping me solve this issue. Basically When I try to download something or even just click on something on a web site, that involves a new window opening, I get a page come up that states..."you are not authorized to view this page" and has an ERROR CODE HTTP Error 403 - forbidden internet explorer

please please help as my internet is basically pointless with this keep happening.
