i am trying to restore windows xp on my emachines brand computer and i forgot that last time i did this it wouldn't proceed past the "what's your computer's name?" screen. Last time i called the number in the little help bubble on that screen and they helped me for free, however they said if i needed help with this again it would cost me. The person who helped me last time told me a button or combination of buttons to press that would bypass that series of screens, however i can't remember the button combination, if anyone could help me with this or offer an alternate solution that would be awesome.

what sort of restore disc have you got, a restore disc supplied by emachines or a copy of XP?
