First, I know very little about computers. Probably why I am here. I have a Toshiba lap top with Windows XP home edition software, which, as of last night, refuses to turn on. I press the on button, which will turn yellow for about 2 seconds while the computer will make noises as if it is turning on, before it gives up, the light goes out and the computer stops making any noises at all. The screen remains black the whole time. I know it is fully charged, I have tried removing and re inserting the battery and holding the button down for longer, to no succsess either way. That is the limit of my computer know how. Can any one help me?
