Hi all:

My PC freezes very often ,when playing DVD's (sometimes it happens when playing AVI files too).

I have no idea what can be the problema.The CPU never goes higher than 20%, so not a CPU problem !!!

Any Ideas ???

My Specs:

WIN XP PRO
SP2 - Pentium IV - 2.80 GHZ
512 RAM

Check to see if you can get a newer version of DirectX, which is Microsoft's multimedia driver subsystem. The Microsoft DirectX web site is at http://www.microsoft.com/directx and you can check your current version by clicking the Start Menu > Run and then typing dxdiag.

Got a refuse from MS saying that this copy is not genuine !!
