None of these options worked since I coud not get into any function that gave me dos prompt each thing woud give me BSD. Using my work pc did get to HP and found there hp recovery tools. that basicaly is recovery consoe on CD. Using that did get into my pc about 11:00 PM. In recover console was able to get to both SCSI drives. unable to get to C:. Ran FIXMBR. That gave me access to C:. Reran chkdsk again . Rebooted the PC. Did get my "normal" PC was able to get windows.

Sorry about not posting anything but after getting my pc up I found that I major corruptions all over the pc. did copy all of my folders and did complete clean reload of
pc. I am in process of installing all my software back. Now computer freezes more often and when I play games screen starts flashing and changing like crazy and olny way to stop it is to kill power to pc. Walter

Sorry to hear that.

The same issues after a reinstall just further the hardware issue.

The graphics card would be the easiest to change out although I would still see if you can get the CPU temperature to come down via cleaning.
