    help

    hi

    please cam you help becuase my pc wont load up windows xp atall, it gets to the bit were it says windows xp with the windows logo and just after that it goes to a black screen please reply as im desperate to fix it many thanks jordan

    i looked at that and i tryed some of the stuff on it and it still dosnt work i took the case off and cleaned out all the dust and checked for loss connections but everything looks ok do you think it has something to do with the fact that i have been on holiday for 2 weeks and it has been left off whiles i was away

    Can you enter Safe Mode?

    Try booting into Safe Mode options:

    After the power-on and BIOS POST or your Logo screen repeatedly tap the F8 key or hold the Ctrl key before Windows starts.

    First off try: Start Windows in Last Known Good Configuration


    Was XP pre installed on this computer? If so what is the make and model of the computer?

    If you installed XP yourself you have your CD: yes?

    its a phillips freeline and i tryed that and it just went on to a black screen and did nothing

    Do you have a Phillips Recovery CD? Or do you know if Phillips has a Hotkey to a Recovery Partition?
