Hi I have a copy of techitools disc from a free-share source, having placed the disc in, it has automatically opened with its various options, I tried to quit and it went to a dos bscript\> point, not knowing how to resume from this I then restarted my computer, since them it seems to have locked its self in a continual boot up sequence, presumably looking for the disc, can u please help me restore my computer to normal operations. I am operating a windows on a intelchip set with xp professional

From here you could try the Recovery Console and choose FIXBOOT.
