    I have tried all this, and that mentioned by about half a dozen forums and still get the system32 opening.

    any more ideas

    This problem dates back a couple of years so why does it still happen. I have done what you have suggested and a few hundred things mentioned from assorted forums.

    Have you any other suggestions, and what happen to my post I placed here yesturday.
