    Weird Icon Problem

So yesterday, I was playing a full screen game (counter-strike), and I alt-tabbed to check something. When I alt-tabbed, all the icons basically in the entire computer (desktop, quick launch bar, etc.) had become invisible. I could still click them, and their descriptions were still there, but they were invisible. I figured if I restarted my computer, the problem would be solved. Well it was.... sort of. Most of the icons came back, but a few of my desktop icons and all the icons in my startbar are replaced by this icon:

They all run fine, it's just that the icon is messed up. Alltogether it looks like this:

Another strange thing is that the other profile on my computer works fine. It's just this one that has the problem.

I'm running windows xp, and recently before this happened I uninstalled microsoft internet explorer 7 beta 3. Also, if I replace the shortcut with a new one, the new one keeps the correct icon. (I'd just replace them all, but I can't replace some of the stuff in the startbar. How can I fix this?

Since this is a new problem I would try a system restore to a time before the problem began.

If System Restore does not work you can also try Tweak UI.

Tweak UI gives you a function to rebuild icons.
