im not really good with computers so i dont know whats wrong with it . i logged on and my taskbar is missing and i cant get it back i tried everything my virus protection wont run i click on it and nothing happens at all and when i tried to reinstall i get to where it says do u accept the user aggreement and when i say yes it exits out and nothing happens i get alot of pop ups alot of them say ameana and zedo and some say my pc may be infected with a virus and when i try to download stuff to help me alot of the times when i click on it nothing happens i dont know what to do oh yeah i cant drag anything or move it to other folders or paste ill high light something copy then when i try to paste it the paste is gray i dont know why or whats wrong but please help
........ I have Xp service pack 2 i dojnt have the windows disc and i cant reinstall it so any ideas

Are you saying that a reinstallation of XP does not work?
Are you referring to booting an XP CD and attempting a Clean or Repair Install?
Or is this something else that you tried?

everyone is telling me to uninstall windows then reinstall it but my disc is old and says that it is the old version and cant be installed unless i uninstall the new version but i dont know how any help please

If you have a Microsoft XP CD you need to run a Clean Install by booting your XP CD.

If XP was pre-installed on your computer you need to follow the manufacturer's instructions.

If this is the case what is the make and model of the computer?

if i do this would it get rid of all my games

It will format (wipe) your drive and then install XP clean.

You will need to reinstall all your software and games and SP2.

ok so reinstalling it anyway will get rid of my games and stuff there no other option
