hi guy's ...mt sons computer is going nuts at the mo blue screen of death keeps popping up ..Iv'e tried loads of stuff to get it right again but its not playing ball at all....now its only 3 months old and has nothing on it worth saving so I want to reformat it ...how do I do it ...i put in the disc but nothing happens it just crashes again ....how do i set it up from safe mode ...although it still crashes when in safe mode ???...help ..please

If it's only 3 months old, i would seroiusly consider sending it back to the manufacturer.

ok guy's I tried the links and they were brilliant thanks and told me exatly how to reformat and I did it .........only when it rebooted after telling me origanal settings had been put back it went staight to blue screen o death ....I'm currently on the phone to hell..I mean dell ...I'm 35,000,000 th in the quew !!!

hello again guy's just to update ....I've been on the phone to dell and they run some diagnostics on my lads computer and there is a hard drive error so they are collecting it and fitting a new one....thanks for the reply's and you might aswell lock this thread now ....again thanks
