Windows Crashing
Hi,
Well I had a problem with my computer two weeks back. It would not boot and restarted every time windows started to load. I tried to run the system Restore in Safe mode but nothing happened. So ultimately, I had to format the HD and then re-loaded the Windows.
2 weeks after same probelm happened. The processor would heat up and windows would not load. this time, I was able to run the system restore, but still the system would not boot . This time also I formatted the first partition and then re-loaded the windows.
I am worried why this issue re-occurs. why does suddenly processor heat up. For the second time, even the Windows would not re-insytall and gave a weird message of some file missing or, I dont recall it and it asked me to run CHKDSK /F.
Can you give some suggestions to diagonse this issue appropriately so that I can stop this from occuring in future.
Thanks and Regards,
Gerry

processor will get warm but if it is getting too hot, check the heatsonk is in place and all fans are working. i would try another clean install, if that fails then post back and we will help you further.
