I recently had a problem where i couldnt get onto my PC, i got a copy of windows XP and re-installed it using the option where it doesn't format the hard-drive.

I now dont have MS office. Well i do.... the files are there but when i open, lets say, word.... it says that i cannot use the program as i need to install it. Ive searched the Microsoft Office folder for a setup or install file and cant find one. Anyone have any ideas how to install office again from this??

You need to reinstall Office with the original Office CD's.

If Office was OEM bundled on your computer and disks were not supplied then you need to shop around for a new Office.

This is always a risk and casualty of purchasing OEM software.

You should have been given factory condition Recovery disks with the computer.

If Office was included then it would be on those disks.

Without those disks nothing can be done but getting new disks.
