    Computer freezing.

    Hello.

My computer is freezing. XP Home edition. I had installed Internet Explorer 7 and Media Player 11 then my freezing problems started. I have since uninstalled them and I continue to have the freeze.

I have Adelphia Hi Speed Cable and their security suite Freedom. The antivirus was made to not start automatically @ startup and spyware remover was completly removed. I have since been using AVG Free edition, AdAware, and Windows firewall. All functioning fine.

The room I have the computer in is hot. I have a house fan pointed at the computer. This keeps the freezing away for another half an hour.

A geek friend looked at it and after it still freezes. I do not know what he did, but he ran tests for most of a day. Also the CD drive was mafunctioning but he fixed that.

    Can you help?

    Thank you.

Case could use a good blow out.

    Dear Drain Bramaged.
    Tanks 4 da pit(tip?).
I've never bought air before. And ONLY 5 bucks a can. I'm so excited. I need a woman.
    Thanks.

I had this problem before and I bought a HDD cooler and it fixed the problem. Also, another issue could be the wiring or socket getting loose and this would cause the system to freeze. Check the wiring too.

The Problem has been solved. It was a heat issue. The computer room was avaraging 85 degrees F. I pulled the side off and put a house fan set on low next to it. During that heat my computer ran trouble free for hours on end. Thanks all for your help.
