screwed up drivers for dvd-rw and don't want to reload xp and all as recomended by gateway.

Does someone have the drivers for HL-DT-ST DVD-rw Gwa-4165B ?

can someone send me these drivers please

XP installs its' own drivers for disk drives.

Go to the Device Manager: Start/Run/ devmgmt.msc | DVD/CD ROM drives

Click the + then right click the device: HL-DT-ST DVD-rw Gwa-4165B

Then choose Uninstall.

Uninstall and reboot and XP will load its' own drivers.
