Black Screen before Windows XP logo on Boot.
First of all, hi everybody
I have a huge problem... Yesterday I was on my pc then some errors came out, and my connection was disabled (O_O). Then I've tried to reboot, but after the first screen, and just before the xp logo, I had only a black screen! I can't boot in safe mode (i tried) and I cant even try to boot from my xp cd, because after i press a key, everything goes black in the same way...
What can I do? Please help me...
Thank you very much!
Sky.

Welcome to D-A-L
Do you see the BIOS POST? The info screens when you first power on the computer?
If so can you get into the BIOS Setup? Usually by pressing the Delete key. (sometimes F2 or F10). Look for: "Press Delete to enter Setup" etc.
When you say the connection was disabled do you mean that the power went out?
What is the exact make and model of the computer?
Clearing the CMOS might be a first step. These instructions should be in the manual. If you don't have the manual you can most likely find it on-line.

Thank you very much for your help, but I opened the pc and i modified some jumpers in the two hard disks, then changed some settings in the BIOS with the help of a friend, then everything went well... I don't know really how
Thank you again
