ok ..I'm starting to have a few probs with my pc....I have scanned for many different viruses ...ad-ware ..spy-bot...avg...run registry mechanic...spy ware docter and no probs come up....

what happens is usually when defraging or scanning or even now when usiing the computer my pc goes click..click...and I get the black screen of death ...nothing .and have to restart again ...
I've tried to scan disc for errors but it won't let me ...it says it will scan on restart but when i restsrt it says it can't ...I'll do it again in a mo and read exatly what it says

have you tried doing the scans in safe mode?

you could always follow the instructions Here and then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware section. (Not here please). with a brief explanation of what the symptoms are
