    Question Logging on help

I have three accounts on my computer, but when I start up my computer it always logs in to one account ' the family account' even if this account holds a password, obviously this isnt great if someone wanted to hold this account, also it means that you have to wait for that account to load up before logging off and going into your own outher account.

Is there any way that this can be stopped? Please help!

    Is this Home or Pro

start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way Users Log on and off

Is Use the Welcome screen checked?

If you are saying that your machine boots straight into a password protected account then something is wrong. Perhaps change the password on the account.

Both Home and Pro have a built-in Administrator account that should not be used except for emergency procedures.

In Home the only way to see or logon to this account is via Safe Mode:

Try booting into Safe Mode by repeatedly tapping the F8 key after your BIOS POST but before Windows starts.

In Pro go to start run control userpasswords2
