I have a Packard Bell EasyNote Series C3300. i am the system administrator on the laptop having one other limited account holder on the system. havning been on holiday for a month I've come home and forgotten my password so am unable to access my user space. Can anyone help me??

Home or Pro?

Try booting into Safe Mode by repeatedly tapping the F8 key after your BIOS POST but before Windows starts.

In Home the built-in Administrator account should be accessible. If no password was set for this account just press Enter.

In Pro there should also be a built-in Administrator account. You may need to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete (perhaps twice) to bring up the option screen.

If the Main Administrator account is password protected and you do not know the password then you will have to do a Clean Installation of XP:
