i have the Realtek AC'97 for VIA (R) Audio Controller. everything works fine expect for when i played games. then this annoying sound message would pop up saying: please shut down all other sound systems before going on. i never figured this out so i just got it off the screen and went back to the game. this message will pop up and annoy the hell out of you. Sometimes when it popped up and when i got back to my game the sound would not work. But a few minutes later the message came back and the sound worked again. well finally the other day the message came up again. ( not a suprise) and i clicked it off like i normal do and when i got back to the game, you guessed it, no sound came out. so i played on waiting for the next message to pop up so i could get my sound back. guess what?! it never came back but it screwed me and i can't hear anything at all. the message won't pop up and my sound does not work for anything. I have done the trouble shooter and everything. Can anyone please help me? if not i am going to throw the computer out the window.
