Some jerk was using my pc and did a restore...now I cannot log onto Windows because I don't have the correct password. I cannot get past the first window because the cancel button is shaded out and i cannot use it to go any further HELP ME PLEASE....Thanks Mike

What kind of Restore was done?

I know of none that would alter passwords.

If no password was set but you are being asked for one then just press Enter.

You could also try Safe Mode:

Try booting into Safe Mode by repeatedly tapping the F8 key after your BIOS POST but before Windows starts.

these circumstances are odd what restore was done? and how could you not know your OWN password as stated D-A-L will not help with illeagal stolen and or pirated version of windows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if yours IS real then boot up in safe mode F8 as jephree said and then use the Admin account and if thats pw then your on your own
