Windows Journal Installer NETWORK RESOURCE UNAVAILABLE
I'm having problems with Windows Journal Installer ... for some reason the computer keeps saying this is not installed (well it used to be) it then tries to install it. It then claims that it could not be installed as a NETWORK RESOURCE UNAVAILABLE the link it seems to be saying is unavailable is a LOCAL TEMP file located on the Documents of the other user of this computer.
I'm guessing that perhaps windows is trying to install this and for some reason thinks it needs the permission of the other user. Normally either of us can install new software without a problem or permission.
There is not a problem when using Windows Journal viewer as the other user. It is only my side that is affected.

Hey,
Try this:
Download Windows Journal Viewer, and then repair it:
1. Download Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer 1.5 from the Microsoft website at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&familyid=fad44098-8b73-4e06-96d4-d1eb70eacb44
2. Run the installer (Setup.exe), select Repair Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer, and then click Finish.

Yes, it worked for me too. Strangely the same task ran perfectly well previously, when logged in with Administrator priviledges. Now it runs regardless of logon.
Thanks and regards, ... Paul.

Glad you both got it sorted
