i recently needed real player to view something and i had to download the new version. When i did this it made RP as my default player and i dont want that, i want WMP. How do i get it so that WMP is my media player all the time ?

if you go to your music files and right click go down to open with and choose WMP and at the bottom put a tick in the box always use this program for these files

your talking to the semi computer illiterate here, i did the right click thing but did pull up anthing that allows to "always open these files" that way

When you right click a media file uyou should see a list. One of the options should be 'open with'. If you choose that a box will pop up where you can scroll down to WMP. Click once on that and tick the box down the bottom as brain damage said.
