I have a custom built computer. It has ATI Radeon 7500. I dont know if that will be any use. It is a pentium 4 preocessor.

once you downloaded and installed it then run it then it should tell you what components you have.

    are your graphics ok?
did XP not load any generic drivers for sound?

You need drivers. You can find them online and import them but you need to ID your components.

Do you know the make and model of the motherboard?

If not you can import Belarc as brain_damage suggested.

You could also look in the Device Manager:

Under: Network Adapters as well as Sound... trying to ID the device.
