Please help if you can i am trying to burn music in windows media player , i am getting a message telling me that no cd/dvd burner has been detected,i was able to rip music but unable to burn, i am operating windows xp home edition.My system recently crashed i had it repaired ,i now get a message from windoes telling me my software is not genuine,could it be windows causing this problem?My computer was manufactured by TIME i cannot get my original key code, PLEASE HELP.Many Thanks. What happened to your original key?

Cannot get much started without it. You might try calling Microsoft and explain the loss.

Otherwise uninstalling the DVD/CD drive via the Device Manager then rebooting might help.
