sort of deleted windows on accident....

    Sony/ Vaio PCV-RZ50
I installed Partition Commander the other day and tried to move some of drive D to drive C. Being the absolute genius that I am, I ignored thier many, many warnings to back up system files. IT completed the Partitiong, then it resarted, like it should. Except that it won't start. It boots up to the Partition Commander if thats in, Norton Ghost, if thats in, and has a fatal error with a blue screen of death if there are no disks in. This comp is supposed to not need a recovery disk, so it did not come with one. Of course, thier little thing dosent work for whatever reason. If I download a XP recovery disk, re-instal windows , then use its recovery system, will that bring it back to life or am i f**ked?
Can i use a CD back up? Or do i have to go about finding out how to get floppies?
and most ironicly, if i need to use a floppy, will the recently partitioned disks prevent it from doing that?

The only documentation that I can find on that model is in Japanese.

You will most likely need a disk of some sort. Most Vaios I see come with Recovery Disks. If yours did not then one of the initial tasks would have been to create such. That being said you could try the Microsoft floppies to get the Recovery Console but it will not repair or reinstall XP proper.

How to obtain Windows XP Setup boot disks

What is the verbatim error message when you try to boot the hard drive?
