do you have your xp cd? if so, try a clean install of xp: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html

if you have a windows 2000 disk, try this: http://www.dewassoc.com/support/win2...eanwin2k.htm#b

    Hope this helps

Hi Mike... I inserted the CD Windows 2000 but nothing happens, In the screen it appears.. "Error Loading Operating System", I have tried to start the Cd by doing the BIOS setup, Startup \ CD Rom, but this does not help neither.
    What should l do?

    i found this:
no, you cannot downgrad to 2k if you have xp installed. microsoft do not want you to use older technology, hence why they make it difficult to downgrade. You'l have to backup your data, and then boot from a win2k cd and start the installation of 2000. You'll be given the option to format, I usually would, its always better to give 2000 a fresh partition
do you have another hard drive in your computer? or can you get hold of another one (just to borrow)?
