I was on my computer the other day and fell asleep with it on. When i woke up it was off (power went out) so i turned it on and it went to the log on screen. Now ive never had to log on b4. It had owner as a user, so i clicked owner and it logged on, blinked to the desktop, and then logged off. it does it everytime. Ive tried to start with safe mode, same thing. and ive also tried logging on as administrator and it says "Unable to log you on because of an account restriction". Also ive searched through mocirosoft.com and found nothin about it. So ive tried everything i could think of, please help me.

this usually occurrs when you have locked the workstation (this can be done by password promt for a screensaver) and then restarted. (networked environment) the pc is locked to the last users account. Does the "owner" user account have a password ? if so simply enter the password... also are you able to restore to an ealier restore point e.g before this problem started ?
