I have also the same exact problem. But I couldn't fix the problem yet.

Does anyone have the solution for this problem.

Is it because the hard disk is already having Windows XP installed which is avoiding to re-installation ....just a guess...

Please assist if anyone knows something about it...

What type of XP CD are you using? Was XP previously installed? Are you trying a Clean Install?

What exactly happens when you try to install XP?
