Verify in the BIOS Setup that the first boot device is the floppy drive then restart the computer with the PowerMax floppy in the A:\ drive (floppy).

There is a quick test and a full test. Might as well try the full.

There are also Format tools within PowerMax but you DO NOT want to format. Just run the tests.

ok ran tests,...says device is failing and must be replaced
gave me a code to write down and that i have to contact maxtor with it and they should replace drive
will see what happens...
