    adding fplder to start button

This may be hard to explain. At one time or another I was able to click on start, choose all programs and right click to add a new item or add an item to an existing folder. Now for some reason I can't accomplish this. Does anyone know the trick. TIA

Are you right clicking a Program?

    If so what happens?

If I go to start > All Programs > and right click a Program I get these choices only:

    Open
    Explore
    --------
    Delete
    Rename
    --------
    Sort by Name
    Properies

true, but I want to add a new folder to make my lists more coherent. I did it before but can't seem to duplicate it. below is an example

Under programs I have one called internet. in this I have dragged my email, icq and yahoo messenger shortcuts along with IE. I have another called imaging that I dragged my printer, scanner and phot editing programs into. But since I can't remeber or figure how I created them

You can do it by this path:

    C:\Documents and Settings\User\Start Menu\Programs
