OE E-Mail corrupts my image files when I transmit messages

Re: OE E-Mail corrupts my image files when I transmit messages
Having asked you to e-mail me I received 4 e-mails at the same time all with the same header.
Each having a different .dat attached and then a blank body.
If I right click the mail and choose Properties then Details then Message Source:
Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="----=_NextPart_000_019C_01C68D9A.3E1EBE40"
I can get a brief glimpse of text: "What's going on with Greenberg? Is he off the hook for any white collar crimes?"
That text is under this heading:
Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
The image is the listed as:
Content-Type: image/jpeg; name=cfr_greenberg_greenspan.jpg
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="cfr_greenberg_greenspan.jpg"
That being said I don't know much more.
But it does give me more things to look up.
Have you thought about:
How do I manually uninstall and reinstall Outlook® Express in the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system?
http://support.dell.com/support/topi...B04&l=en&s=gen
Again I would hold off on this untill Neal clears you.

Jephree-
I ahve stumbled all through these so-called "support" sites and end up totally in the wilderness when it comes to uninstalling & reinstalling OE, XP, IE....they are closed system loop-arounds which bring the inquiror and his problem back to sqaure one with no viable solutions.
But, if that's the direction we must take, so be it.

As to your Coffee try this:
To remove the application entry from Add/Remove Programs (if present) open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall and find the folder for the application. Delete the folder.
-
navigated as instructed, but nothing at end of tree but one folder under Uninstall with Type of "REG_SZ". This is the name of the folder: {CC938BCB-4FE5-4D33-9200-72E3A7D7E4D2}
-
Did you clik the "+" next to Uninstall?
This should show everything in Add Remove Programs
-
Hey, I have found that ugly file folder {CC938BCB-4FE5-4D33-9200-72E3A7D7E4D2} as a folder under the Uninstall folder which follows in the correctly spelled Current Version folder. Can I go ahead and delte that folder? How do I know that folder applies to CoffeeCup?
-
Nothing else in Curr Version/Uninstall folder tree....
-
Right click it and you should get details.
Also by right clicking you can Export it > then delete it > then Import it back if needs be.

There must be 50 or so folders with numeric names under the correctly spelled current version/Uninstall folder...
-
Right click and you should get details.
