hi. ive done a search around this forum and had a look at some of the answers you guys have given. im just not sure if my problem is the same.

ive had an acer laptop for bout 6 months. it was working fine with no problems. but in past month or so, its started playing up. first programs like IE and msn messenger kept shutting down "due to an error" then it came up saying to send the error report to micro soft. however that seems to have stopped but now completely out of the blue the laptop will goto a blue windows screen and all i get time to read is that windows has encountered an error and has to restart. which it then does, and also runs a scan of the disc.

ive got norton anti-virus and have been consistently been downloading the updates and it says there are no viruses.

does anyone know what could be wrong and how i could fix it?

you may not have a virus but you have spyware etc on your laptop

Please follow the instructions http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=32403 and then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware section. (Not here please). with a breif explanation of what the symtoms are
