    help~audio device problem!

I have accidentally deleted all of the audio devices from my computer. As it stands now, when I go to the control panel and look at my volume/sound, etc, it says that there is no audio device. Can't hear anything from anything. Please help me. Need to know where I can reinstall this!!!!! I have a Windows xp
    thanks

Have you tried system restore? Try taking it back to before you deleted the audio.

What's the make and model of the computer? Is the sound card onboard (built into the motherboard) or a PCI card?

It is an Acer computer Aspire 3000. I believe it was built into the motherboard, because I didn't do anything to it when I bought the laptop.
