I have a dilema, i made a partition not too long ago for my operating system.
The size of it is about 5 gigs.
I would think of it to be enough, it wasn't since i saved stuff to desktop all the time and blah blah.
So i changed the defualt User Shell Folders to my other HD (even the temp folders)
ex:
Now i've had problems with installers unpacking temp files to my C: drive.
Such as creative suite.
Of course i have enough space in D: (ZAID) since it's 300gigs or so.
Now here is my dilema, unless i find about 1.5 gigs of stuff to delete from my C: drive (which i have pretty much have tried for hours)
I would have to reformat my whole drive to keep these problems from coming up again and again while installing.
I even tried "F:\Adobe Creative Suite 2.0\Setup.exe" -is:tempdir D:\Sidebar
for shortcut properties
I do remember having about a gig then i installed something into D:, the installer i guess put temp files in C: and i can't find them, ive tried deleting all from Installer Info folder
Any Suggestions?

I would suggest 10GB minimum for an XP SP2 system partition. 20 would be better.
At this point in time you would need to start over or purchase partitioning software to expand C.
You could try to Compress the drive via Disk Management > Properties > General
