Ok everytime my computer is running I get the yellow shield for this update:

Size: 572 KB

No matter how many times I install it it just comes right back! Right after installing it it will come right back. Restart, it comes right back. Same update! I've never had a problem updating... nothing has changed on this pc as far as firewalls or antivirus software etc. Any ideas why I keep getting this update or... can't seem to successfully install this update?

Oh... and after installing I DO get the SUCCESS message as well. Any ideas?

I installed that today and it took two times although the first said success.

I would suggest going to Windows Update and manually installing again and or get it here:

http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/abo...displaylang=en

If it continues to be a problem check your Install log on the Windows Update page.

Hey thanks for the reply. Well that link you gave me was to some information about Genuine Microsoft Software... I bought this computer from dell and it came with Windows so its NOT pirated software... I think the update was finally sucessful today after about 2 weeks of this problem... Cause I haven't seen the yellow shield all day. I guess it just takes A LOT of tries....

Oh and I did install from their website a few times... Thanks anyway!
