    Recovery Disc
To recover your Advent PC you will need your Advent System Recovery CD.

Advent system restore CD ver. 3.0

    http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/pc/3418.htm

Is this the disk that you have? Have you followed the instructions as seen in the link above?

I would assume Advent would be the best source although they offer nothing on line except a contact form:

    http://www.adventcomputers.com/Contact.shtml

    Other searches:

    http://www.gennersales.co.uk/recover...XP_Restore_CDs

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...ds&btnG=Search

Have you tried all 3 methods of Recovery? The most complete being System Recovery - Quick format: which will wipe (erase) your hard drive but is probably the best bet to work on its' own.

That is a dead link. I would strongly suggest contacting Advent.

Just be careful what you buy. I noticed that site claimed that these disks were no longer available from Advent. I don't see any guarantee etc.

The second disk appears to me to be only a driver disk. If this is the case you might be able to track down your particular drivers online and then run the Format Recovery Option.

You might also be able to extract the drivers from your current machine before formatting.
